Brave Writers: Movie Madness

BraveWriters

I took a course on BraveWriters called Movie Madness. What we did was we would watch a movie then we would discuss the movie on a discussion forum.

We discussed:

*Glory

*A Room With A View

*The Sting

*Star Wars- A New Hope

*Hitchcock’s- North By Northwest

In some of the movie discussions we made up fake names to go with the movie. For example: In The Sting a gangstarish movie my name was Doll Face (don’t laugh.)

I really enjoyed the class because though it was very intellectual Mr. B (one of advisors) was really funny. It was his idea to do the naming and he always had the best name.

A Room With A View: “This movie is astonishingly boring” says Elferkid Inc.

Urrrrrrrr! My mom made me watch A Room With A View. It was completely and entirely boring! She made me watch it all. It was about a couple of utterly stupid British nitwits, who lamented over not having a hotel room with a view. In the movie, Charlotte was the kind of person who made her life look so horrible. “Poooor Charlotte” imagine everyone saying this in a heavy British accent after receiving correspondence from her. If you value your life and don’t want to waste it watching boring movies then do NOT watch A Room With A View.
