S.A.T. Suggestions For Middle Schoolers
Here are some general suggestions for taking the S.A.T.:
1. Don’t be late!- At my S.A.T. we had to wait because some people weren’t there yet, it wasn’t fun.
2.Train your self to wake up early for few weeks prior to your S.A.T.- The test is at 8 a.m. on a Saturday… gasp! Get a good nights rest.
3. Pack everything the night before.- Early in the morning you aren’t thinking to straight so you might accidentally forget something important.
4. Go to the bathroom before you get there.- Some people try to go in between sections in the 5 minute breaks, it is not such a good idea. Right now 5 minutes seems so long, right? Wrong, I guess time flies when you are having fun! lol.
5. Pack food.- My tummy growled and I had food, I guess all that hard work burns calories. Pack your food in small sections, If you can’t really close something up and it takes longer than 5 minutes to eat then its a bad idea.
6. Pack a water bottle.- Believe it or not human beings need water to live.
7. Dress in layers.- Wear a tee shirt and bring a jumper so you are prepared.
8. Don’t even bring and ipod, gameboy, or cell phone.- You are not allowed to have them an wouldn’t be embarrassing if your cell went off during the middle of the test, you wont be able to use them anyway’s.
9. Bring a spare calculator.- You never know and you should be prepared.
10. Be confident, Have fun, and I can’t stress this enough use the loo before going, just in case, even if you don’t need to because trust me you will.
